Second Act Asia Digital Products: License & Refund Terms

Effective 20 October 2026

These terms cover all Second Act Asia digital products sold on secondactasia.com, including bundles. Second Act Asia is a trading name of Valitron AB, Sweden.

Refunds: 14-day no-questions-asked refund. If you are not satisfied, e-mail hello@secondactasia.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you. See section 6.2.

In these terms, "the product" means the Second Act Asia digital product or bundle you bought. Section 9 describes each product, and section 10 covers bundles.

1. Parties and how the sale works

• Supplier and licensor: Valitron AB, org. no. 559015-4729, VAT SE559015472901, Vårlöksvägen 58, 446 36 Älvängen, Sweden ("we").
• Reseller and merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy processes your order and payment and charges any VAT or sales tax. Under its Buyer Terms, you buy the product from Lemon Squeezy, and the licence to use it is granted to you by us under these terms.
• If these terms conflict with Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms on payment, tax or chargebacks, the Buyer Terms apply. On licence and use, these terms apply. Nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights.

2. What you get

What each product contains, and its price, is set out in section 9. Bundles are covered in section 10.

3. Information only: no advice, no guarantee

The product is general information. It is not legal, tax, immigration, medical, insurance or financial advice. It does not guarantee that any visa, permit, extension, insurance policy, tax position or other outcome will be obtained. Rules change often, so the product may be outdated at the time you use it. Always verify with official sources and qualified professionals before acting. The Disclaimer applies in full.

4. Licence

4.1 We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, use and print the product for your own (and your household's) personal, non-commercial use. You may fill in and adapt the templates for yourself.

4.2 You may not:

• share, resell, sublicense, publish or upload the product or substantial parts of it, including in groups, forums or file-sharing sites;
• use it to provide paid services to others (e.g. as a visa agent, relocation consultant or broker) without a commercial licence from us;
• remove copyright notices;
• use it to train AI models.

4.3 Copyright remains with Valitron AB. If you breach this licence, it ends automatically. Commercial or team licences: write to hello@secondactasia.com.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds (EU/EEA consumers)

5.1 As a consumer in the EU/EEA you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. We do not ask you to waive this right. No withdrawal waiver is requested at checkout or afterwards.

5.2 Every buyer, consumer or not, gets the 14-day no-questions-asked refund in section 6.2. This meets or exceeds the EU 14-day right of withdrawal.

5.3 To withdraw or ask for a refund, send a clear statement (e.g. an e-mail to hello@secondactasia.com, or the model withdrawal form below) within 14 days of purchase. You will be refunded within 14 days of our receiving it.

6. Refunds

6.1 Faulty or not as described: if the product cannot be downloaded or opened, or is materially not as described, contact us. We will fix or re-deliver it. If we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction or refund in line with your statutory rights (Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260), ch. 9, or the equivalent law in your country).

6.2 14-day no-questions-asked refund: if you are not satisfied, e-mail us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you, no questions asked. We may deactivate access to future updates.

6.3 Apart from 6.1, 6.2 and mandatory law, purchases are not refundable after the 14-day refund period in 6.2. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy.

7. Limitation of liability

7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the product. This includes indirect or consequential loss, refused or delayed visas, penalties, tax liabilities, uninsured costs, or loss of profit.

7.2 Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the product.

7.3 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Law, disputes and complaints

These terms are governed by Swedish law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Complaints: hello@secondactasia.com. If we cannot agree, consumers in Sweden may refer disputes to ARN (arn.se); EU consumers may also use their national ADR body. Disputes may also be taken to the courts as set out in our Terms of Use.

9. Our products

Taxes such as VAT are calculated at checkout by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

9.1 Thailand Long-Stay Toolkit 2026

The Thailand Long-Stay Toolkit 2026 is digital content: a PDF guide, spreadsheet templates and checklists, delivered by download link. Your purchase includes updates published within 12 months of purchase, sent by e-mail. We do not promise any specific number or timing of updates.

• Price: US$49.
• Early-bird code: with code EARLY39 the price is US$39 until 31 December 2026. EARLY39 is valid on the Toolkit only. It is not valid on bundles.

9.2 Survival Thai

Survival Thai is a PDF phrasebook of 54 Central Thai phrases, delivered by download link. There is no audio.

• Price: US$12.
• Launch price: US$9 until 31 December 2026; US$12 from 1 January 2027.
• Review: the phrases are written for everyday spoken Central Thai and reviewed before release.
• Corrections: your purchase includes free corrections to the edition you bought. We do not promise new editions.
• Language guidance only: the language guidance is general and is not a guarantee that you will be understood.
• Not advice: Survival Thai is not legal, medical or immigration advice, even where phrases cover situations such as immigration offices or pharmacies. Section 3 applies in full.

9.3 SE Asia comparison guide (coming soon)

Coming soon. The SE Asia comparison guide is not on sale yet. The planned price is US$24. These terms will apply to it once it goes on sale. Your purchase will include free corrections to the edition you bought. We do not promise new editions.

9.4 Thai för svenskar - Överlevnadsthai (Swedish edition, coming soon)

Coming soon. Thai för svenskar - Överlevnadsthai is not on sale yet. It is planned to go on sale around 7 December 2026. These terms will apply to it once it goes on sale.

Thai för svenskar - Överlevnadsthai is the Swedish edition of Survival Thai: a PDF phrasebook of the same 54 Central Thai phrases, with Swedish glosses and a Swedish-style romanisation, delivered by download link. There is no audio.

• Price: US$14.90. The price is charged in US dollars (USD). On our website it is shown as about 149 kr; the amount in kronor that you pay depends on your card issuer's exchange rate.
• Launch code: with the launch code, the price is US$9.90 (about 99 kr) for the first 7 days after launch. The code can be used a maximum of 100 times.
• Bundles: this edition is not part of any bundle.
• Review: the phrases are written for everyday spoken Central Thai and reviewed before release.
• Corrections: your purchase includes free corrections to the edition you bought. We do not promise new editions.

10. Bundles

• Discount codes do not apply to bundles.
• Refunds: bundles get the same 14-day no-questions-asked refund as single products (sections 5 and 6). If you are not satisfied, e-mail hello@secondactasia.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the whole bundle. Bundle refunds are all-or-nothing: we do not give partial refunds for single items in a bundle. This does not limit your rights under 6.1 or mandatory law.
• Each product in a bundle is covered by these terms and by its description in section 9.
• The Swedish edition (section 9.4) is not included in any bundle.
